James Mosley gave two superb talks at TypeMedia on Thursday. He started off with the interesting "Making Type in the Great Century in France and the Low Countries". In the second, "The English Vernacular" Mosley made a passionate case for the English lettering tradition. Especially the details about Johnston and his opposition to the flexible pen need looking into.
