Thursday Sept. 2, 2011, Jan Willem Stas, Paul van der Laan, Peter Verheul and Erik van Blokland ceremoniously opened the year 2011/2012.

No wait, that’s just a locker. The actual opening is next week! Six bags of waste paper, tediously hip yet unloved graphic design, dried up silkscreen inks, broken keyboards, ancient routers, mice (bio and tronic), speakers, wires, string, tape and several unidentifiable balls of goop were dragged out of the TypeMedia studio to make room for the coming year and the new students.
