Ciao,
I am a graphic and type designer from Milan (Italy) who attended the Type and Media 08/09 course.

My final project is Alice, a small family with size-specific styles that explores the relationship between text and display letterforms. The design goes beyond optical adjustements and creates features specific to each intended size of use. It has been designed primarily for use in magazines that offer long articles and essays, where columns of text are accompanied by distinct and expressive headlines. You can find some pictures here.
